Fruit Shoot Smencils - Review

We were recently fortunate enough to be sent some Smencils for review, which are scented graphite pencils made from 100% recycled newspaper, with special new scents created in collaboration with Robinsons Fruit Shoots.

The five Fruit Shoot scents are; Tropical, Orange, Apple, Summer Fruits and Blackcurrant & Apple.  They really do smell like the juice!

Each Smencil stores in its own biodegradable tube, guaranteeing freshness for two years.

The boys were really excited by the smell of the pencils, and kept sniffing them whilst drawing.  I think these would make a lovely addition to any back to school pencil case.  

We were sent five graphite pencils, but I think it would make them even more special if they were the colour to match their fruit shoot flavour, e.g. green for the apple scent, purple for blackcurrant and apple, etc.   Perhaps that will be something to look out for in the future, as Smencils normal range do cover colouring pencils too.

All in all, a lovely product, which is good for the environment too! :)
